Brief descprition

The European Association for the Defense of Human Rights – AEPADO is a non-governmental organisation whose aim is to promote and defense all civil, political, economical, social and cultural rights. Also it’s a platform of action with and for youth that promotes talented youngsters in all domains of activity.

Our main activities are: education & training at all levels (schools, high schools, universities, public and private institutions), public events (debates, conferences, seminars, workshops), meetings of the decisional factors in public policies (education, youth, human rights, etc), research and publications on human rights issues, youth exchanges, advocacy, charity, national and European projects. The main topics of our activities: social protection and defense of human rights, education, youth, children, mobility of professionals, intercultural dialogue, preventing and reducing the phenomenon of violence, preventing and reducing the use of drugs, women’s rights, equality of chances, Roma rights, EU’s law, international law and national law issues, culture, legal counseling, mediation.

AEPADO has experience in implementing several wide projects at national & international level in Romania, and European projects (in partnership with state bodies, NGOs, media, private partners), among which the major projects are (since its establishment in 2007):
