To provide an economic support to the students involved in learning mobility activities, especially training and internship

Description:

The project “Midi-Pyrénées Horizons” is an initiative of the French region Midi-Pyrénées, intermediated by some French local Universities. The management and the technical support is committed to the Centre National des Œuvres Universitaires et Sociales (CNOUS). Due to its experience and proficiency in the field, the Cnous is always a respected voice in the domains of student services and aid, in order to better serve students all through their studies in the domain of national and international mobility. The project’s aim is to provide an economic support to the students involved in learning mobility activities, especially training and internship. The grant is supplied according to specific criteria, such as economic and social conditions, to buttress especially young people with few opportunities. The basic principle of Midi-Pyrénées Horizons is that if a student has limited resources, it may apply for a grant to finance its studies in higher education, thanks to the fund of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Culture and communication. The outcome of this initiative is giving students the chance to empower themselves and experience their skills abroad, carrying out a traineeship in a specific sector. The grant covers project lasting maximum 36 weeks and for a total amount of 2560 euros.
